Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Over the years that I have been in high school. I have contributed so much into the community to make it a better place. Not necessarily money, but my time and dedication to helping others. One location I really enjoyed was Dream Catcher of La. I helped children who suffer physical and emotional disabilities by receiving therapeutic horseback riding. As the children ride on the horses it helps them overcome fear, gain self-confidence, and attain inspiration for learning new things. While volunteering and meeting new kids every day. I started to notice that I needed to have patience. Many of the children didn’t accept my assistance due to lack of trust and communication. I recognized that it was key to have communication skills with them because every child has different ways of communicating and asking for help.
