Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to have dance/sing offs with the kids it’s a great way to be silly. I love crafts and have a craft bag filled with awesome art crafts from making slime to making puffy art work out of glue and shaving cream (it feels like a cloud when dry). I enjoy having creative hands on dinner/dessert nights like everyone making pizzas together to making what I call whatever popcorn, it’s a fun way to kick off a movie night by making popcorn and having the kids add all their favorite treats into the popcorn like m&ms, recess pieces, chocolate chips, caramel and ect. I also love playing pretend either outside or indoors. Also having bubble parties outside and so much more.

My experience with special needs children...

I am currently working with children with autism as a 1 on 1 teacher going on over a year.
In high school I took 2 years of being in the PALs program with working and helping kids in high school with special needs.
