I am a very fun, spontaneous person. I enjoy being inside and outside. I can play dinosaurs or barbies, hide and seek or tag, or sit and color. I enjoy watching educational videos/shows for children or even cartoons. I am very creative and love art, that means lots of crafts for mom and dad! I can easily have fun doing whatever your child finds amusing.

The most important part about being a nanny...

If you ask me, the most important thing about being a nanny is love. Love to me consists of a lot of things. Patience, care, determination, understanding, forgiveness, happiness, discipline, respect, and the list goes on. I find it very important to treat a nanny job as a real job. Someone’s beloved children are in your hands and for you to be trusted with such is very special! I find it very important that loving and caring for the child comes first, while also remembering to have fun and enforce authority (lightly of course), for example if the mother and father give instructions that Tv has to be limited, enforcing that rule and allowing only what the parents suggest is key!

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked in special needs classes and assisted with children who need extra help or an extra eye on them. I have had family friends who have children with special needs who I have spent a lot of time around. I am very patient and understanding and find it easy for myself to help children who need it a little more than others. :)
