More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

As the oldest of multiple siblings, I’ve gained plenty of hands on childcare experience at home, especially while helping care for my younger sisters. I’m comfortable supervising children, preparing simple meals and snacks, helping with routines, keeping their spaces tidy, and making sure they feel safe and supported. I’ve also been volunteered at church events to help with the children haha.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy arts and crafts, coloring, reading stories, playing games, going outside, watching age appropriate movies, and creating fun activities based on each child’s interests. I also enjoy helping children learn through play.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, caring, and dependable environment where children feel loved and supported. As a nanny, you become part of their childhood, so I think it’s important to create fun and meaningful memories they can look back on and remember how happy, safe, and cared for they felt.

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t currently have formal experience caring for children with special needs, but I’m patient, attentive, willing to learn, and happy to follow the family’s instructions so I can provide the safest and most supportive care possible.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I worked at a daycare, there was a sweet little boy who was very smart but extremely shy. My favorite moment was when he finally became comfortable with me and started calling me “teacher.” He would hold my pinky everywhere we went, always wanted to color and play with me, and sometimes fall asleep on me. His mom even brought Valentine’s Day cookies and a card to show her appreciation. Gaining his trust and becoming someone he felt safe with meant so much to me, and I still miss him!
