I’m an aviation student attending SWIC night classes and had just transferred from SEMO where I was studying elementary education. Although I loved the major and working with children, I felt aviation was the right career choice for me. Even with the switch, I still enjoy getting to have the chance to work with children. Before moving, I was working at the YMCA with children through the days helping with zoom meetings and scheduling a full day that nearly matched a normal day at school. I also coached several basketball teams ranging grades 3-8 while also being the oldest of 4 siblings.
