I’ve babysat for family and close friends, where I was responsible for keeping the kids entertained, preparing snacks or meals, helping with homework, and making sure they stayed safe. I’m comfortable caring for multiple children, keeping a routine, and staying patient and calm in different situations.

Activities I enjoy doing with children include playing games, doing arts and crafts, reading books together, and going outside for walks or active play. I like finding fun and creative ways to keep them engaged, whether it’s building something, making up stories, or doing simple learning activities. I also enjoy helping with homework and being someone they can feel safe and comfortable around.
The most important part about being a nanny...
was when I helped a little girl I was caring for overcome her fear of the dark. She used to be scared at bedtime, but I created a fun nighttime routine with a special flashlight and a story about brave animals. After a few nights, she was excited to go to bed on her own and even looked forward to our “brave animal” stories. It felt great knowing I helped her feel safe and confident.
