More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve been caring for children for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a home that welcomed foster kids, I naturally took on caregiving roles from a young age. I’ve babysat nieces, cousins, and family friends sometimes juggling multiple age groups at once. These experiences taught me how to be patient, adaptable, and attentive to each child’s unique personality and needs. I’ve also cared for family/friends pets, so I’m comfortable in homes with dogs and other animals.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love getting creative with kids arts and crafts, building forts, and imaginative play are some of my favorites and overall making them to be able to think on there own. I also enjoy reading stories, and exploring nature through walks or backyard adventures. I believe in balancing fun with learning, so I often incorporate educational games and activities that spark curiosity. At the appropriate time If allowed I’d do some body weight exercises with them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part is building trust with both the children and their families. Being a consistent, loving presence in a child’s life means showing up with empathy, reliability, and respect. It’s about supporting their development while making sure they feel safe, heard, and valued every single day.
My experience with special needs children...
Growing up around foster children, I had the opportunity to care for many kids with special needs some ranging from just emotional or behavioral challenges to physical needs. These experiences taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and consistency. I learned how to adapt to different communication styles, create calming routines, and offer support in ways that helped each child feel safe and understood. It’s been one of the most rewarding parts of caregiving for me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was helping a shy little girl come out of her shell through storytelling and puppet play. Over time, she began creating her own characters and stories, and it was amazing to see her confidence blossom. Watching children grow emotionally and socially is incredibly rewarding.
