My experience with special needs children...

I don't have specific experience with kids with disabilities, but I have been working at an assisted living home for seniors for 2 years and I know how to handle the tough situations of communications struggles, breakdowns, and anger. I also have been working towards my Registered Behavior Technitian certification.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was taking care of an 8 month old boy and a 5 year old boy. While I was feeding the infant, his brother came over and said that I had sparkles in my eyes and then proceeded to try and mimick the way I was suppossedly looking at the baby. Later that same day when the baby was taking a nap, he was attempting to do the ninjago spin and knocked over a box of legos. He looked at me and made the face from earlier again. I just loved my time with them!
