Outdoor: Going for walks and exploring parks, playing games like tag, catch, or sports, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, or water play, picnics, nature observation, or riding bikes/scooters (with proper safety gear)!

The most important part about being a nanny is building a safe, trusting relationship with the children in my care. Routines, activities, and learning works best when a child feels comfortable, understood, and valued. Nannying, at the core, is about being a reliable and positive presence in a child’s life.

My favorite nanny moment/experience in childcare is playing an imaginative game where the child and I were “cooking in a restaurant”(using leaves and rocks as ingredients, with the addition of cooking toys). So many giggles and a great way to practice fine and gross motor skills.
