In addition to my professional teaching experience, I have cared for children as a Lead Pre-K Teacher, where I was responsible for their daily care, safety, learning, and social-emotional development. I have also worked as a Physical Education Teacher, youth mentor, camp leader, and church children’s ministry volunteer, supervising and engaging children of various ages. These roles have given me extensive experience creating safe, nurturing, and structured environments while building positive relationships with both children and their families.

I enjoy doing activities with children that encourage creativity, learning, movement, and confidence. Some of my favorites include reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play, games, music and dancing, imaginative play, age-appropriate educational activities, and exploring new things together. I love creating opportunities for children to learn through play while also helping them develop social skills, independence, and a love for learning.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel valued and cared for. A nanny is not only responsible for meeting a child’s daily needs but also for building trust, encouraging growth, and being a positive influence in their life. I believe the best caregivers are patient, dependable, attentive, and intentional about helping children develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

My favorite childcare moments are the ones where I get to see a child discover something new and realize what they are capable of. Whether it is helping a child learn a new skill, watching their confidence grow, seeing their excitement during a creative activity, or celebrating a milestone they worked hard to achieve, those moments are incredibly rewarding.
