I have very limited experience with this professionally. At the school I used to work at in Spain there were several special needs children who I actively worked with on a daily basis, though I wasn’t the only teacher that worked with them. I know that it takes a lot of patience with these kids as they deserve someone who is willing to understand them.

Genuinely, I have so many fun moments with all the kids I have worked with. I just love when they are laughing and you can tell they feel safe and free to be themselves. It is also the most rewarding thing ever to make a kid laugh — even though they will laugh at anything sometimes it still feels like an accomplishment!
