My name is Janete, I am 21 years old. I grew up raising/babysitting my sisters kids since they were newborns, a boy and a girl who are now 5 and 6. I have an open availability and have no responsibilities that would interfere with nannying. I was also cpr certified a year and a half ago through a medical program I was in.
I am a very responsible person with a clean background.
Being a first eye whiteness to my sister and her husband and seeing how complicated it can be when both parent(s) work and, or simply need a bit of time to themselves or with their partner, I’d love to be able to help out!!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a youth leader at two Catholic Churches and worked with kids from grade level 1-12 so I have a bit of experience with all ages and cared for 3 newborns 2 boys and one girl.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am very good a studying with kids, I have helped my niece who is a very hyperactive kid learn her sight words and with spelling. I also wouldn’t mind taking them to a nearby park or simply playing in the yard with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Definitely being able to help out the parents and knowing kids aren’t being left home alone.

My experience with special needs children...

In high school I was a teachers aide in a special needs classroom and also volunteered a couple times at brain balance where my friend has a managing position at.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment has to be when I babysat my niece and my sister had asked if I could go over her vocabulary words with her and my niece memorized most words and I practiced spelling them with her as well and the next day my sister called me after picking up her kids from school because her teacher had told her and not only was my niece able to recognize the words but she was able to spell them! And my sister was so proud and so thankful since it was a bit hard for her to get my niece to engage in wanting to learn her words.
