A little bit about me

Hello potential family! My name is Jania and I am very much excited to get back in the Nanny industry. Last time I worked as a Nanny was back in 2018. I worked for a Family of 5 out in Havertown, PA when I was living in Philadelphia. I worked with this family for 6 years. I took care of their three children who ages ranged at the time, 3 months, 3 years old & 4 years old. I stop working for them because the youngest was starting 1st grade that next month which was September 2018. It crushed my heart so bad to have to leave but in my heart I knew that I was a(n) excellent Nanny to the kids. The family and I still keep in touch as well. I also worked for 2 other families before my last family. I am a single mom of three daughters ages 17, 16, & 10 (all girls). My daughters are my world and everything I do is for them. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I cared for Children both in Philadelphia and Havertown, PA. The two children in Philadelphia I cared for, I took care of them at their Apartment. Their mom was a stay at home mom but my main duties was cleaning their apartment, driving her and kids to activities, beach with family car, doing laundry, as well as caring for kids during date nights. Other family whom I worked for, I took care of children in home. I prepared breakfast, lunch dinner for kids, washed, fold and put away laundry, went to grocery store once in the blue, picked up husband clothes from cleaners, took kids to museums, library, park, pool, etc. I am not a teacher, I just always had the experience of course baby sitting and decided to start Nannying years later. I also have children of my own.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love playing board games with kids, coloring, reading, going to pool, park, watching movies or doing whatever the kids like to do or whatever parents have planned for us to do. That’s what make Nannying fun and that’s doing different things with the kids everyday, that their parent know or I know they would love to do. To me it’s all about what the child loves to do because it makes everything so much easier.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most Important part about being a Nanny is making sure the kids are okay. Making sure I treat the kids as if they were my own. What’s important to me, is me being there for them because their parent(s) are at work and can’t be there for them at that moment in time. My goal is to make children feel comfortable and I want them to be able to trust me no matter what as well as their parents too.

The most important part about being a nanny...

All of my favorite Nanny moments are just being there from beginning to end. It’s just so amazing to take care of children and watch how they grow through out the years then reminisce about how
little they were when I first started and so forth. I will say another favorite moment of mine with my last family was when I was pregnant with my youngest and I got to bring my baby to work. The kids and family was there for me every step of the way. It also brought me joy because while I took care of these kids growing up, they helped me with everything like bottle feeding my daughter, help change her, play with her etc. It was like at that moment in time they were acting like the grownups/Nanny which made my heart smile.
