More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In the past I have worked at a Head Start for 4 consecutive summers, serving children from 6 months old to 5 years old. Here I provided potty training services and created fun and engaging activities while maintaining a safe environment for all children.
During my senior year of undergraduate school, I worked at a college access program serving students from 7th to 12th grade. I directly worked with families to make higher education a possibility for their students.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy arts and crafts (making jewelery, painting), reading and writing, or dancing and listening to music. Additionally, I enjoy outdoor activities, such as water tables and sensory tables, that are fun and engaging.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Providing a safe and caring environment for all children. I know that families have a hard time leaving their children with others. For that reason, nurture and dependability or so importanting in this field.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have any certifications working with special needs children but have experience working with them at my previous headstart job. Furthermore, I previously took a class through my MAT program on supporting children with special needs and IEPs in the classroom.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have loved being part of children's growth development. Every milestone, such as watching an infant take their first steps, or a special needs child speak for the first time has made caring for child so fulfilling.
