A little bit about me

Hey! I am Jariyah Williams. I recently graduated from Oglethorpe University as an honors theatre major with a Bachelor of Arts. I was a daycare teacher, but I want to become a full-time, live-out nanny as I apply to graduate school.  While I focus on theatre, I have great experience with children. As a teenager, I volunteered and worked with an after-school program in Vidalia, GA. When I moved to Atlanta to pursue my education, I worked as a teaching artist assistant with children K-4th grade at Alliance Theatre. From March 2023 to November 2024, I worked as a Toddler Room Teacher (1-2 years) and gained experience in the infant, preschool, and Pre-K rooms.  Finally, I also babysit for the parents at my old daycare. While I do not drive (I would Uber), I have had glowing reviews and have great relationships with my parents (I have references). Not only do I have training in Early Childhood Education, but I also have a knack for connecting with children on a personal level!
