hi! i am currently working as a Patient Care technician, taking care of of those aged 18 and up after major injuries, surgeries, and some dementia patients. i help with their day to day tasks such as feeding, bathing, vitals and blood sugar checks, changing, moving around the hospital, and sometimes just being there in there presence for them. i’m scheduled to complete my BLS certification (including infant/child CPR, AED, and first aid) through the American Heart Association on July 8–10. i work as a Patient Care Tech in Flagstaff and already have hands-on experience responding to medical needs, so im confident and comfortable handling emergencies.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

i have cared for my siblings when my parents couldn’t. around the ages 2-10, and occasionally when they were 6-12 months. i bathed them, cooked for them, made sure they got to school and back, clothed them, and socialized with them. this was done all by myself on a 2-4 day timeframe, off and on at least 4-5 times monthly up until i was 18.
