A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Jasmin Lopez, I am a 26 year old Hispanic woman working towards entrepreneurship. I attended Montgomery College working on a Psychology degree, to which I initially wanted to work as a therapist with children between the ages of 3 and up, however, as the years went on, I leaned more toward doula work to fulfill my desire of working with new and becoming mother and their new born children.

I am the eldest daughter of 5 children, having 2 brothers and 2 sisters and the second oldest of about 12 cousins! I’ve had tons and tons of learning experiences with children since I was 5 years old and continue to learn more as the years go by. I love children, I love puzzles, coloring, DIY projects! Some would say I never let the child in me grow old!

I recently worked with two wonderfully families! Each boy and girl, both were 2 years of age! We did a lot of reading, playing with toys, singing, dancing and whenever we could get outside, that was our favorite thing to do!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some of my favorite activities to do is read, color (painting, crayons, etc). I am a huge animation movie/show fan, so listening to music and dancing is one of my absolute favorite things to do! Playing outside in jungle gym environments with other children is always fun!
