I’ve been working with youth programs for the past 9 years from the ages newborn to all the way to eighteen. I’ve also babysat and nanny for numerous families through my work program.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking children to the park and on walks to get some fresh air. I also love and think it’s super important to do hands on activities that can include anything from making play dough to cooking a simple recipe. I myself love to paint so I enjoy doing art and crafts and buildings new things with my hands.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve worked with ADHD and autistic children for many years. I’ve come across many specials need, but those are the most common that have appeared in my line of work. I get specialized training from professionals and the parent themselves to help achieve the child’s individual plan to better themselves and myself to make it a more comfortable and happy environment for all.
