Hello and Welcome ! My name is Jasmine and I have been in the education field for about 7 years now ! From [phone number hidden] I have worked in Daycare setting being an Assistant and Lead Teacher. After that I began working with children with special needs in an Elementary School! From that job experience I was able to Nanny for a 7 year old with autism along with his 10 year old sibling for the summer of 2023! I currently work at Rutgers Disability Center, the Autism Adult Program! I am getting married soon and will be relocating to the Long Branch area and would love to spread my experience!

I believe working with children requires a genuine love, passion, and most importantly patience. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I started my career going for a Certification of Completion in Early Childhood Education at Raritan Community College in 2017. I then started working at a Daycare located in Princeton, NJ in 2017 as well. I cared for 2.5 -5 year olds. In 2019 i then located to another Daycare in Somerset, NJ where I become Lead Teacher in a Pre-k class. Later on that year I moved to an Elementary School that was part of Franklin Township Public Schools. Here is where I started my band new journey working with children that have special needs from ages 6-10. I now currently work at Rutgers Disability Center working with the Autism Adult Program!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing arts and crafts with children or even coming up with fun crafts to do with them! I find joy in having a good laugh with children, being silly and creating fun memories!

My experience with special needs children...

I started working with special needs children with autism with ages of 6- 10 from [phone number hidden]. It was a program apart of an Elementary School located in Franklin Township, NJ. It was such a pleasure to work with this specific group of children as they have so much love to give! Autism gave me more of an appreciation to work with children !

The most important part about being a nanny...

We both know how silly children can be, from the things they say or do. I think my favorite moment is when the children and I both have that belly laugh over something either they do/say or something I do/say. I think moments like those are so precious and create a beautiful bond.

My other favorite moment would have to be seeing children grow from something they couldn’t do to something they’re proud of! Moments like that being a joy to your heart.
