A little bit about me

I absolutely love being around kids, I am currently attending college at Bismarck State majoring in social work which I do online classes. I grew up with two younger brothers, they are currently 10 and 15 now, so I was quite a bit older than them growing up. I have always helped watch them since they were born. I currently am a lead daycare teacher in an infant room. I used to have two nanny jobs, but they ended because they started early education and their family did not need a nanny anymore, I am still very close to both families and that's what I hope to achieve for the next nanny family I work for.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Gymnastics coach in Crosby Nd for about 3 years throughout high school, I would coach children from ages 6 months to around 12 years old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going on walks, taking them to parks or the zoo.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being close to the family. With the families I nannied for in the past, I became very close to them and was even invited to the children's birthdays, which became one of the things I looked forward to every year. Having trust with the family is also extremely important to me, I love taking the kids I watch to the park and on walks, having trust to do that is very important.

My experience with special needs children...

I have little experience watching kids with special needs but my mom had a friend whose child was nonverbal with autism and I have watched him a handful of times.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Watching my first child I nannied for say her first word and take some of her first steps to me. I love taking silly pictures of the children I watch to send to their parents at work, the kids absolutely loved it, and the parents would always tell me they appreciated it since they missed them at work.
