I love keeping children engaged through a mix of creative, educational, and active activities. I enjoy reading together, arts and crafts, music and dancing, imaginative play, baking/cooking, puzzles and age-appropriate learning activities, outdoor walks and playground trips, exploring parks and museums, and planning fun outings. I also enjoy creating structured routines while still allowing children the freedom to be curious, creative, and have fun! 💕

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I believe in being patient, dependable, and genuinely present while also helping children build confidence, independence, and good habits. I want families to feel that their children are not only well cared for, but truly known and understood.

My experience with special needs children...

I have extensive hands-on experience caring for children with special needs, particularly children with autism and epilepsy. Most recently, I cared for two boys, ages 4 and 7, both on the autism spectrum. My responsibilities included creating structured routines, preparing meals, assisting with homework and daily activities, school transportation, and managing their individual medical and developmental needs.The younger child also has epilepsy and experiences frequent seizures, so I am comfortable responding calmly and appropriately during medical situations, following established care plans, and administering medications as directed. I also successfully helped him with potty training while providing consistent encouragement and support. My approach is patient, attentive and individualized. I understand that every child has different communication styles, routines, triggers, and needs, and I focus on creating a safe, supportive environment where they can feel comfortable and confident.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are the little milestones that happen when you’ve built a genuine bond with a child. One that stands out to me was helping a child I cared for through potty training. Watching his confidence grow and seeing how proud he was of himself made me so happy. Those everyday moments—when a child learns something new, accomplishes something they’ve been working on, or simply runs up excited to see you—are what make nannying so rewarding to me.
