Through my work as a Childcare Assistant, I have helped maintain a safe, structured, and engaging environment for children while assisting with daily routines, activities, meals, and transitions. In addition, my leadership experience through church and community programs has allowed me to mentor and guide youth, organize activities, and build positive relationships with families. I enjoy creating fun, hands on learning experiences for children that encourage creativity, confidence, and growth. Some of my favorite activities include planting flowers and plants with children to teach responsibility and patience, creating arts and crafts projects that they can give as gifts to their parents, and helping children learn phonics, letters, and early reading skills. I also enjoy outdoor play, educational games, story time, and activities that allow children to explore their creativity while building important social and developmental skills. Watching children learn new things and take pride in what they create is one of the most rewarding parts of working with them.
