Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I believe that a blend of indoor and outdoor activities are important. I think that children need to be active and moving but also need to know how to spend time quietly. I think it is important to engage with children and interact with them and that they also have the pill ability to entertain themselves. I like to be involved in all sorts of activities to create diversity in children’s experiences.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe a nanny’s job is to provide consistent, nurturing, predictable care to the families.. I know that I would need to be flexible to the families values, routine, and needs for their children. I like to be able to support the whole family and assist in ways that replicates normalcy and stability for the children. I also believe that being reliable as important for the family.

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have a lot of experience in this area however am willing to learn. I do have some experience with children with ADHD.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love memories of when I have worked with the child and I could see that they understood a word and were able to repeat it. It is fun to watch their face light up and them to continue to say the word because they have the understanding.
