The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is building trust and creating a safe, positive environment for the children. You as a parent are trusting me with what matters most to you, so I think being dependable, patient, and attentive is incredibly important. I also think it’s important to genuinely get to know each child, understand their personality and needs, and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and valued while they’re with me!

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite babysitting moments was with a family whose oldest daughter was 15. At first, she made it very clear that she didn’t think she needed a babysitter and would often remind me of that! Over time, though, we built a really great relationship. On my last day, she surprised me by telling me how much she was going to miss me. It was such a sweet moment and meant so much to me because it showed that even though she never wanted a babysitter, she had genuinely enjoyed having me around. It reminded me how special it is to build a connection with the children you care for! I will be attending her high school graduation this year!!!
