I have quite a bit of hands-on experience with children. I’m a mom myself, so I understand the patience, attention, and responsibility that comes with caring for kids. I also volunteer with children and regularly help my mom with babysitting jobs when families need extra help. Through those experiences, I’ve cared for children of different ages and understand the importance of keeping them safe, comfortable, entertained, and on their routines. I enjoy doing activities that keep kids happy, active, and engaged. I like arts and crafts, coloring, reading, playing games, music and dancing, outdoor play, walks, and age-appropriate learning activities. I also enjoy letting kids use their imagination through pretend play and creative activities. I’m always happy to follow the child’s interests and make sure they’re having fun while staying safe.

The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the child feels safe, cared for, respected, and understood. I believe building trust with both the child and the parents is very important. I want parents to feel confident knowing their child is in good hands, while making sure the child feels comfortable, supported, and able to have fun and be themselves.

I have personal experience caring for children with special needs, including supporting my 7 year-old child with autism by helping with structured routines, communication support, and transitions between activities. I understand that every child has their own personality, communication style, needs, and routine. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable providing extra support when needed. I believe in creating a calm, safe, and encouraging environment where children feel understood and comfortable. I’m also willing to follow the family’s routines and instructions closely to make sure the child receives consistent and compassionate care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments is seeing a child become comfortable enough to open up, laugh, and just be themselves around me. I especially love those little moments when we’re playing, reading, or doing an activity together and they get so excited and proud of what they’ve accomplished. Knowing that I helped create a safe and happy environment for them is what makes babysitting so rewarding for me.
