Hi! My name is Jeliyah, and I’m 17 years old. I genuinely love working with kids and enjoy creating a fun, safe, and caring environment for them. I love cooking, helping with activities, playing games, and keeping children engaged while making sure they’re well cared for.

I have plenty of hands-on childcare experience. I have a younger sister, have helped care for my younger cousins for years, and have babysat three young children at the same time. Most of my experience is with children ages 10 and under, so I’m comfortable with different personalities, routines, and keeping up with busy little ones.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have several years of hands-on experience caring for children through my younger sister, younger cousins, and babysitting for multiple families. I’m comfortable caring for children ages 10 and under and have experience watching three young children at the same time. My responsibilities have included preparing meals and snacks, ( I LOVEEEE COOKING !! CLEANING TOO IF NEEDED :) ) playing games, helping with bedtime routines, keeping children entertained, and making sure they are safe and well cared for. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and creating a fun, positive, and caring environment for them.

I enjoy doing arts and crafts, reading stories, playing board games, going outside, baking simple treats, coloring, dancing, building with LEGOs, helping with homework, and coming up with fun activities that keep children entertained while learning and having fun. I believe the most important part of being a nanny is making children feel safe, loved, and supported. Building trust with both the children and their parents is important to me. I strive to create a fun, positive environment while being patient, responsible, and attentive to each child’s needs.

My favorite childcare moments are when I get to see kids smile and have fun whether we’re baking, doing crafts, playing outside, or reading together. Watching them learn, laugh, and enjoy themselves is the most rewarding part of babysitting. I love seeing their bright smiles and personalities because everyone is so different!
