Hello I’m Jenifer, I’m 30 years old. I first started babysitting when I was about 13 years old, watching my father’s friends kids. I realized I loved interacting with them I decided to volunteer in my church nursery. Being a sibling of 11, I love to see the joy on the children's faces when you play with them or just give them any sort of positive attention. A little something about myself, I am currently a caregiver and have been for the past 5 years for my nana. A little something else about myself, I love doing things outdoors such as hiking, swimming and exploring new things . The most important part about being a nanny...

To me the most important part is reading the child beneath the behavior. Any nanny can heat up chicken nuggets and change diapers. But my job is to figure out what a child is communicating when they can't use their words especially when they're overwhelmed, tired, or frustrated. I prioritize emotional safety over perfection. If a child feels truly seen and regulated, then they can learn, eat, and sleep well. The schedule matters, but the connection is what makes the schedule actually work.
