When I first started working as a teacher, I still had a strong accent and a little struggle while speaking English. What led to the following situation:
Me: Could you give me a napkin, please?
5 years old boy: This is not a napkin, it's a tissue, how can you not know that? You're the teacher!
It's a simple moment that made me laugh and think about the innocence and lack of filters of children. But also reminded me how kids also teach you things sometimes. So now I do know the difference between a tissue and a napkin.
