I’ve worked in a preschool for 8 years! Prior to that, I volunteered with my church and helped run VBS, have volunteered with the special Olympics, and helped raise my special needs brother.

My experience with special needs children...

I am a preschool teacher currently and we’ve had many special needs children come through our center. My brother is also special needs and my mom was a single mom so I helped her raise him. I’ve volunteered with special Olympics several years. I’m also high functioning autistic and love to help out those that are lower functioning.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Teacher not nanny moment…. But my favorite thing is I still have a great relationship with an 11 year old that I originally met when she was 2, in my first ever class. She’s honestly my best friend!
