A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Ms. Jen! I am 26 years old. I have been teaching preschool since I was 18, but have been working with children ever since I was 12 and could get my first babysitting job. I also volunteered during my summers to be a camp counselor working with both preschool ages and elementary school ages. I have an Associates degree in Early Childhood Development ! I love teaching and helping kids learn new skills, it's what I do best. Not only can I teach your kids their shapes and colors, how to read, use scissors, use the potty, but i can teach them how to cook, clean up after themselves and be respectful and of course how to be a good friend to their peers. I believe that kids can do so much more than most people think they are capable of and with encouragement and close supervision, can accomplish huge things! Thanks for taking the time to read! My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for several wonderful children who have autism.
I have also worked with kids who have developmental delays, as well as speech delays. I've worked side by side with psychologists at Baltimore county schools to help evaluate and asses some kids in my care to help them receive a diagnosis so that their family could get an IEP for their children and get help with their insurance.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment…oh man there are so many it’s hard to pick just one. I think my favorite moment so far has been circle time. Every day I sing and dance with the kids and everyone is laughing and smiling together and having a great time.
