I’ve worked as Teacher Assistant in Montessori preschool with ages 2-5 years, worked in before and after school programs that assist with homework as well as activities, and also worked as a assistant to a Children’s and Youth Pastor during the different assignments I was called to.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love the outdoors in general and enjoy keeping kids active to help them reduce stress and relax and also be able to focus better when it is study time for the older children I attend to.
I still love the board games we all grew up with and try my best to learn these new ones (they are way more challenging in my opinion 😉). Tv time is also good but should be limited to not get children consumed by it.
I’m open to all sports as well as also yoga and stretching as it’s helpful to all of us!

The most important part about being a nanny...
Is showing patience and understanding with each child. They all learn in different ways and it’s our job as caregivers to discover this and embrace it! We are all gifted in our own special ways!
My experience with special needs children...
In college I worked for a semester with special needs children that were ranked as mildly disabled. I learned so much during this time how blessed we are to be able to help others and how appreciative they are when you are patient and compassionate towards their challenges. The most priceless part was seeing each child’s eyes light up when they started to believe they could achieve after so much hard work!
The most important part about being a nanny...
It has to be when a little one I was nannying started to walk! This was something I definitely let the mother feel was her accomplishment and had absolutely nothing to do with me. I was just honored to be able to assist her achieve goals.
