More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I previously worked for the Chicago Park District teaching swim lessons to children, and I’ve volunteered in my son’s preschool class helping with activities and routines. I also have 13 nieces and nephews that I’ve helped care for and raise.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing crafts, reading together, sensory activities, outdoor play, nature walks, and simple learning games.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building real connection and creating a space where children feel safe, understood, and supported. Every child has their own personality, emotions, and way of learning, and I believe it’s my role to meet them where they are with patience and empathy. I value helping children feel heard, guiding them through big feelings, and supporting their growth with gentle structure rather than pressure. Being a nanny isn’t just a job—it’s forming trust, understanding a child’s needs beyond the surface, and becoming a consistent, positive presence in their world. What matters most to me is knowing that the children I care for feel secure, valued, and truly seen.
My experience with special needs children...
I have extensive experience caring for children with a variety of special needs, including ADHD, Autism, sensory processing challenges, and epilepsy. I focus on understanding each child’s emotional and sensory needs, supporting regulation, and creating a calm, predictable environment where they feel safe and understood.
In addition to working with children, I also have long-term caregiving experience with an adult with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, which has strengthened my skills in patience, communication, mobility assistance, and adapting care to individual needs. These experiences have helped me develop a deeper understanding of how to support children who require extra attention, structure, and gentle guidance.

The most important part about being a nanny...
It’s hard to pick just one moment because every child I’ve cared for has brought their own fun, crazy, and spontaneous memories. Each kid is their own little character, and it’s all the small moments—laughs, breakthroughs, and silly surprises—that stay in my heart long after.
