"Jennifer was the glue that held my little family together! She loved my boy like her own and I would hire her again in a second without question.
She was always on time and stayed late even when it wasn’t expected.
She cooked, cleaned and cared for my son, home, and dogs like it was the best part of her day.
She worked so hard for us, and she gave my baby the babyhood he deserved with so much love and support.
She sent pictures throughout their day and honestly kept me sane.
She wasn’t just my son’s nanny. She was our family.
She helped get him to his back well visits, she showed up when he was ill, and even helped me move without batting an eye.
Jennifer was a constant in our lives when our family had faced the toughest tragedy.
When we parted ways I’m not sure who cried more me or her.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a Nanny for 5 years, caring for children ranging in age from 6 months to 6 years old across three different families. Prior to relocating to Nor Cal. My responsibilities have included providing attentive care, creating age-appropriate activities, supporting daily routines, preparing meals and snacks, and helping children learn and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.
The first two families I worked with relocated, which was bittersweet because I had built such meaningful bonds with their children. While I was incredibly happy for their families and the new opportunities they were pursuing, saying goodbye was difficult because I truly care about the children I work with. I am grateful that I have remained in contact with those families, and all three families are available to provide references.
I take pride in building trust not only with the children I care for but also with the parents, becoming someone they can rely on and feel confident leaving their children with.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
It would be much shorter to list what I don't enjoy doing with children, because I truly love being part of every stage of their growth. I enjoy watching them explore the world around them, celebrating their milestones, and gently guiding them through the challenges that come with learning and growing. Whether it's finding the courage to ride a bike without training wheels, working through a meltdown when they're overtired, or discovering something new for the first time, I believe every moment is an opportunity to teach with patience, kindness, and encouragement. There's nothing more rewarding than helping a child build confidence and seeing the pride on their face when they realize, "I did it!"
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny to me is helping children grow into strong, confident, kind, and independent adults. Every stage of childhood is an opportunity to build their confidence, encourage their curiosity, and teach them that they are capable of overcoming challenges. Whether it's potty training, learning to swim, or one day becoming a swim instructor, every milestone is a stepping stone toward independence. Whatever their goals may be, it's an honor to play a small part in helping them believe in themselves and giving them the encouragement and support they need to thrive.
The most important part about being a nanny...
It's hard to choose just one favorite nanny moment because there have been so many. One that always makes me smile was when I asked the girls to name two things they loved. When they finished, I jokingly asked, "What does Jenn love?" Without hesitation, the youngest smiled and said, "Jesus and coffee!" It still makes me laugh.
Another memory I'll always treasure was hearing the oldest say her bedtime prayers. As she listed everything she was thankful for, she ended with, "...and thank You for Jenn." Moments like that remind me how meaningful this work truly is.
I also loved celebrating milestones, like watching both girls learn to swim without their floaties and seeing the oldest gain the confidence to join swim team. Watching children grow and knowing I played a small part in their journey is the greatest reward.
