She followed our instructions and schedule closely with the baby and engaged in fun activities with our preschooler. While I do believe structure and consistency help children thrive, I do also have a more laidback approach to childcare. In my experience, an environment that is too strict becomes stressful for not just the children, but also the parents and myself. Adults are present in a child’s life to teach and guide, but that doesn’t mean we can’t also let a child follow their natural instincts. Children are people too!
I am willing to plan activities and crafts, go on occasional outings, prepare meals, and do some basic cleaning and pet care. I was CPR certified in the past but that has since expired. I am willing to renew it if necessary.
