A little bit about me

I am a mama of an 8 year old boy. He’s my whole world❤️ he is staying with his grandparents in Rocheport, MO to get a much nicer life than me & his dad could offer. We split about 4 years ago and it was pretty messy… we’ve spent so much money on court costs, moving back to MO (from Colorado) & fighting about custody. We finally settled on letting his (very well off) grandparents be the primary custodians and have them help with all of the necessary financial burdens that come with caring for a child. I gave my son a wonderful opportunity that I couldn’t provide… but I miss being a mama and I think there’s no job more important than helping to affirm, support and love on a growing child❤️ I would love to be a part of someone else’s story and maybe even get back on my 2 feet to be able to get to a place where I can support my baby again! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I started babysitting when I was 9 years old!! Remember when the neighborhood girls would walk around with flyers to watch your kids for you?? That was me!! I have always loved kids and wanted to be a mama❤️ I am cpr certified and have general first aid knowledge for kids of all ages.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love taking kids to the park or to the swimming pool, I’d love to take them to their sports practice or music lessons while you’re away… we can do crafts!!! lol. (Me & my son LOVE doing arts & crafts!!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Listening. To the parents, to the kids and doing what that family knows is best; and not doing what you might think. I know first hand how important it is to do what the parents want. This isn’t my child and I would always follow YOUR family rules.

My experience with special needs children...

I have some experience with kiddos that have special needs. In Colorado I had 6 families with special needs kids, & I would come to their homes to give the kids haircuts or some fun color… so over the last 8 years, the experience has added up.
