More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Aside from nannying I have worked as a preschool teacher and substitute elementary school teacher with long term experience in kindergarten and inclusion preschools, including special needs children
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to read and share that love of books! I am never without an activity or fun idea up my sleeve! I love to make my time with children fun and educational, whether that is engaging their imaginations or their minds! From homemade play dough and Montessori activities to silly songs and pillow forts, I love it all! For more ideas check out my Instagram @supernannyjennyv
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is the connection you make with the children, and the family as a whole. My most important job is to make sure that children are safe and are benefitting from their interactions with me. My favorite quote is ‘In a world where you can be anything, be kind’ and I hope to instill and model those kindness and empathy skills with the children I work with. It is next most important to develop good rapport and communication with the parents, to make sure we are a cohesive team.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with children of varying levels of need throughout my childcare experience. I have worked with autistic children and children with ADHD and trauma. I have also worked in preschool inclusion classrooms with children with a variety of needs, and am happy to work with children with special needs and learn anything I need to to help your child thrive.
The most important part about being a nanny...
There are so many! I have loved every child I’ve worked with! From snuggling with a book at nap time to fixing favorite meals, pancakes for dinner or scavenger hunts around the house, my favorite moments have to be when I see a child has really absorbed or benefited something positive from their interactions with me, hearing them quote me to their little siblings, or express their feelings in ways I’ve shown them, or be excited to go to the book store or learn about another culture.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Tampa, FL: Aquissana G.
Hi! My name is Aquissana (pronounced Oxana) but my friends and family call me Aux. I am 26; I have volunteered and worked at Ellis Memorial daycare and summer program in Boston since I was 15 with children ranging from 0-12. I had received CPR and First Aid training through them which I am willing to renew once expired. I've been babysitting for family members since I was 12 and truly love being around children and watching them grow. I worked as a Paraprofessional 1:1 at Collins Middle School with a child in the learning skills program. Being apart of a child's life and having the chance to help them reach their milestones is so important to me. I have a 2011 Nissan Altima in very good condition and a clean driving record. I am looking for something permanent and full time. I want the opportunity to grow with a family and help with anything that the parents may need.
