A little bit about me

Hi! I'm currently a student at Wingate University studying Psychology. I love kids and have experience caring for children ages birth-9, as well as animals. I'm the oldest of 3 children and am six years older than my sister and 8 years older than my brother. This led to me babysitting them alone for hours at a time from the ages of 2-9, and 4 months-7. Throughout my childhood, we lived on a farm. I've had reptiles, cats, dogs, livestock, and birds, and have been the main caregiver for each. I plan on getting my first aid and CPR certifications soon, although I've taken classes in the past and am comfortable with the use of both. I hope to get to know you and your family!

My husband and I were renovating a house nearby and we hired her to babysit three times a week for two weeks until my mother in law could come and stay with our daughter. Our daughter had the time of her life with Jes and loved when she would take her to the park, the beach, or just sit and play board games or do art projects with her."

One of my most memorable moments was the time I helped a 2 and 5-year-old put on a musical for their caregivers. They decided after watching Frozen that they wanted to learn the songs and perform them, so we spent most of the day practicing before they put on their show that night, with me playing the snow monster.
