I have worked with kids since I was very young when my first job with kids was for my sister when she became ill and I took care of her kids that were 13 months apart.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going to the park, drawing, crafts, movies, playing outside, cuddle time! and reading lots of books.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part to me is the connection witht the kids, making sure that they feel safe and secure. That nothing will ever happen to them when they're with me. I also value communication with the kids to ask what I could be doing better and making sure they know they can tell me when something is wrong.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked for PDS in Chambersburg, I worked with an autistic individual there who was 40 years old but her mental age was much younger. She had many issues with her mental health but through her I was taught many things. She became my best friend and I carry around her craft with me everywhere I go on my keyring to remember her impact on my life.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I give my nephews piggy back rides almost every night for bed time, it’s what they remember most about bedtime and it gives them more motivation to sleep
