I worked at a daycare my senior year of college as a floater. What I loved about my role is that I was able to visit every classroom and meet all the children, from as young as 3 to as old as 5. This was an amazing experience and I was sad to leave once I graduated.

Is setting a good example and treating every child as your own. Whether that be redirecting bad behavior or giving them lots of love, the kids I take care of are important to me and I make sure they know it.

At the daycare, I did care for our special needs children as well and got to coordinate with their caregivers and extra support they received from outside of the care center.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Right before I left the daycare, all my kids started to give me letters and drawings as a goodbye. Almost a year later, I still have all of them and love looking through them.
