A little bit about me

Hello! I loved working as a pre-school teacher at a Montessori school, but I had to quit working there due to health issues, (pre-schools are germy!) Childcare is the most joyful job, (despite the stress), because at the end of the day you know you made a difference in a child's life, even if that is just by making them feel a little bit happier and a little bit more seen. I am excited to work as a nanny because being able to see your children grow is so precious! I would always be really sad as a preschool teacher when my children moved onto the next class! I have experience working with all ages-but most of my time has been spent as a lead teacher for 11-18 month olds, and as an assistant teacher for 4 year olds, (pre-k age). Above all I value that children are given a safe and loving environment that brings them joy and growth. I am a college student in aviation and conservation biology-but my schedule is super flexible for the next six months!
