I enjoy engaging children in fun, creative, and educational activities that keep them entertained while encouraging learning and development. Some activities I enjoy include arts and crafts, reading storybooks, outdoor play, board games, coloring, and helping with homework or simple learning exercises. I also enjoy organizing movie nights, imaginative play, and age-appropriate activities that help children stay active, social, and confident. Most importantly, I strive to create a positive, safe, and enjoyable environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and happy.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a 6-year-old autistic godson who is very important to me and has taught me the value of patience, understanding, and compassion. Through helping him navigate different challenges and learning experiences, I have developed a deeper appreciation for providing consistent support and encouragement. While some days can be more difficult than others, I always strive to create a safe, comforting environment where he feels accepted, understood, and comfortable being himself. This experience has strengthened my ability to care for children with empathy, patience, and attentiveness.
