A little bit about me

I am a passionate caregiver and mother of four with extensive experience in daycares, nanny roles, and homeschooling management. For the past year, I have also provided dedicated, in-home care for a sweet 2-year-old. Our home is completely smoke-free. Now that my own kids are in public school, I am excited to open my home to one more child. I love being an active part of early childhood development. Our days are filled with enriching activities, including age appropriate STEM learning, crafts, daily walks, trips to local parks, and attending storytime and music/movement sessions at our local libraries. Maintaining a clean, structured routine is a natural part of my care. I believe a nanny helps children to become independent and helps them continue to develop in their own unique personalities. My hope was for them to grow into confident young men and women (and many of them have!).

My experience with special needs children...

I was previously a nanny for a family of 5, one of which was a sweet young lady with down syndrome. We still visit occasionally to this day via phone calls.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of the young girls I nannied for lovingly called me "CA" while she was learning to to talk, because Jessica was too hard to say. She still continued to call me CA as she grew older, and her mother also continued to call me CA. We still receive Christmas cards from them addressed to CA!
