i’ve always been the babysitter in my family and have taken care my little cousin since he was 3-9 and my other cousin since she was 9-13. i currently work taking care of elderly people and also get pulled to take care of teenagers who are struggling mentally.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
i honestly like to find what they enjoy doing and do it with them. all kids like different things and i can never expect them to be the same. i do it all from playing with baby dolls, going to the park, watching movies, playing outside, playing whatever sport they enjoy playing , etc. i was always an outside kid and love being active outside. i don’t like being on technology all day so i do encourage to go enjoy the sunlight every once in a while.

the most important part about being a nanny in my opinion is caring for the child as if they were my own family and building a connection with them. Children need to feel loved and safe and building a honest and genuine connection with them is so important to making them feel loved and safe.
My experience with special needs children...
i sometimes get to work in courage which is a mental health facility for teenagers. Courage has gave me the experience to work with teens who suffer mentally.
