Greetings my name is Jiliani, a loving 24 year old and soon mother to a baby boy due in August.

Fun Fact: I am the oldest of 6 children, and changed my first diaper when I was 8.

My why: I value family and that is one of the reasons why I have chosen to dedicate my time to helping maintain the wellbeing of families, by caring for their most delicate members: their children.

My desire is to not only feed, bathe and play with a child but to invest in the wellbeing of their soul, ensuring that they’re equipped for the world ahead and I do this by using biblical teachings, praise and worship and overall being the best representative of Christ Jesus I can be, through LOVING them.

I think the most important part about being a nanny is trying your best to be a suitable filler for not only the child but also the parents of that child.

And although I know I could never measure up to the biological parents’ role in that child's life, I ensure that every hour spent with them, I'm trying my best to keep them calm, cared for, and feeling safe.

My favorite nanny moment is when you work with a returning ‘on call’ client and despite not having had seen you for awhile (whether it had been for a few weeks or months) the child will remember you.

Their faces light up and they stare at you intensely ( as if they’re having a Deja vu moment ) and then what follows is actually the best part: they smile!
