Hi there! My name is Jillian and I was born and raised in sunny San Diego, CA. I moved out to New York almost a year ago and have been loving the big city lifestyle. I love being outdoors, going to museums, trying new restaurants, horseback riding, and traveling when I can.

I love kids and have experience working with all ages as well as kids with special needs. I’m happy to help with cooking, cleaning, travel, and tutoring. Anything you need, I’ve got you covered!

Growing up, I babysat for kids in my neighborhood. I provided daycare and overnight care depending on the needs of the parents.

I also volunteered for a day program for kids with special needs. I assisted with meal prep and tutoring as needed.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love taking kids on fun excursions like going to the zoo, aquarium, park, or beach. I also enjoy taking them on educational adventures to museums.

I am also very musical so I love teaching kids to play different instruments such as the piano, violin, cello, or bass guitar.

As a former gymnast and tennis player, I enjoy coaching the next generation of athletes.

I think the most important part of being a nanny is giving kids a safe and comfortable space for them to grow and develop. It’s about giving them opportunities to learn and have fun all at the same time!

My experience with special needs children...

I volunteered at a day program for children with special needs. I played games with them, helped at meal time, and assisted in their learning of new skills.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think my favorite moment with kids is watching them come out of their shells. Many of the kids that I have babysat were quite shy when I started but over time, they slowly opened up and started to show their funny, quirky personalities. Whether it is with myself or their peers, I love helping kids grow into more confident versions of themselves.
