I have the perfect balance ratio where I’m able to have fun with them, but also teach them what’s adequate to do and not to do. This way, not only are we “having fun” playing but I’m also teaching them certain ethics along the way.

The most important thing to me when taking care of children is to teach by guiding them in the right choices, but also to understand and learn from their behavior to know the “why” behind their thoughts, actions, emotions. By being both a guide and empathic with them, this shows them that I can be understanding towards them by validating all of their emotions, but also “guiding” them thoroughly as to why their emotional responses differ.
