A little bit about me

My name is Jordyn, but I prefer Jo. I am originally from Michigan but moved to Spokane in 2021. I have experience with children of various ages, gender, and caring for them in various settings. I feel true joy when caring for a child, and getting to help teach them and grow their minds. I have experience as Lead Teacher in the infant room at a Montessori center, interacting daily in the needs and cares for children ages weeks old-3 years.
I am also the eldest daughter in my own family, and the responsibility of caring for my siblings often fell to me. I am confident in my abilities to account for the needs of any age group or developmental needs.

My passion for caring for children has led me to become as best prepared as I can be for proper care. I am STARS certified (a 30hour training course created by the state of WA on childcare), CPR&First Aid certified, as well as possessing a food handlers permit.
