Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy engaging children in activities that are both fun and enriching, such as reading together, doing arts and crafts, visiting the children’s museum, enjoying outdoor play, exploring indoor playgrounds, and playing a variety of interactive games that support learning and creativity.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part about being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with the children and their family. I want every child I care for to feel safe, loved, and truly listened to. That’s what creates a happy, secure space where they can grow and thrive.
I take the time to really get to know each child — what makes them smile, what comforts them when they’re upset, and how they like to learn and play. Whether we’re doing crafts, reading stories, or just talking about their day, I’m always there to support them with patience, kindness, and consistency.
Being a nanny isn’t just a job to me — it’s a chance to make a positive difference in a child’s life, and I treat that responsibility with a lot of love and care.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children who have special needs, and it’s something I approach with a lot of patience, empathy, and respect. I understand that every child is unique, and I take the time to learn what works best for them—whether it’s adapting routines, using calm communication, or offering extra support during transitions.
In my past roles, I’ve assisted children with developmental delays and sensory sensitivities. I focus on creating a structured, nurturing environment where they feel safe, understood, and empowered to express themselves. I also collaborate closely with parents to stay consistent with any therapies or strategies being used at home or in school.
Supporting children with special needs has taught me so much about the importance of flexibility, kindness, and celebrating small wins. I feel honored to play a role in their growth and confidence.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when a little one I was caring for ran up to me one morning and said, “I missed you yesterday!” It was such a small moment, but it meant the world — it showed me that I had become a comforting and important part of their everyday life.
We spent that day making paper crowns, singing songs from their favorite movie, and having a pretend “birthday party” for their stuffed animals. Watching their imagination come alive — and being invited into it — reminded me why I love this work so much.
It’s those everyday, heartfelt moments of trust, laughter, and connection that make being a nanny truly special for me.

Hi, My name is Mimi and I am looking for some Babysitting jobs before I head off to college. I grew up around a lot of younger kids being one of the oldest cousins and I also recently worked at my moms child development business and have being going there since I was a baby. I love making a fun environment for kids while also maintaining safety. My dad also had a restaurant so cooking would not be an issue for me… I also love to do it! Although I am only available for a lot of hours until the 28th of this month I will be back some weekends and could stay in contact for last minute need of Babysitters!
