I love to get the kids outside as much as possible! Biking, walks, looking for bugs, tag, playing on the playground, the list is endless!
Being outside is the quickest way for kids to learn and pick up skills about the world they live, and I love the opportunity to teach!
Inside though, there are plenty of games/activities to help keep them engaged. Anything that asks them to focus, like board/card games, hide and seek, tag, reading, or playing make believe keeps them from checking out.
Honestly though, I find that the most effective way to interact with kids is to just talk to them!
Children are INCREDIBLY hilarious, as well as thoughtful and daring. They have SO much to say if someone will just take the time to stop and listen to them!
