I have watched my nephew and niece since they were born, they are now 18 and 12 years old respectively. I have watched my great nephew since he was 1.5 years old he is now 8 years old and I still watch him once in a while when he sleeps over. I briefly had a job babysitting my neighbors daughter, who was 1.5 years old. I currently babysit for a lovely couple that have a 4 year old girl. I usually watch her at night and do her bath time and bedtime routine when I do. I also watch her some weekends during the day or at night.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Being able to help out a family who just needs someone they can trust to look after their kid(s) for them. I have lots of young kids in my family and I get how helpful it can be for my cousin or my siblings to have help. Being able to have 5 minutes where they do not feel like they have to constantly keep an eye on their kids. They know if their kids are with me they are having fun and they are being well looked after.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I was babysitting my neighbors daughter in 2020 we had a cute little routine for the mornings that I loved. When I would come to her house I would either get her out of the crib or take her from her dad. We would then get a bottle with milk and say good bye to her brother and dad. After they left for school and work, we would sit down and watch her favorite show Miraculous Lady Bug and just have a half hour of peace and cuddles. It was favorite moment and it was why I did not mind having to be up at 7:00 am when I am not usually a morning person.
